Buchanan 3.8

So we started baby/birthing classes this week. Monday was the first night. We learned all sorts of .... well, actually last night was mainly a meet and greet. But we did meet some very nice people and decided we enjoy the lady who will be teaching the class, so that's good.

Amanda has been fairing relatively well thus far through the pregnancy process. Though, this last week she has been noticing a bit more swelling than she had previously in her feet, so being hyper aware of potential problems I was adamant that we go in and do an ultrasound to make sure she didn't have a blood clot or anything. Plus I figured we could use it as a chance to see the baby again too. Good news. No blood clots and the baby is back in normal position (not breech anymore). We got a couple pictures but getting a good 2 dimensional picture of a baby is actually quite difficult as it turns out. Give me a bit more practice and I'll be making those 3D baby portraits in no time though. NEhoo, here's something to look it.... just imagine it's a cute little baby sucking her thumb, cuz that's what we saw. Oh and I did my own checking and did confirm she is still a girl, so go ahead and by the pink stuff. (not too much pink though... but girly is fine).

Other than that, life is relatively good. Sage is enjoying her new school and her new friends. She tried out for soccer and is enjoying getting out and running off some energy a couple times a week now. She is enjoying a few new "privileges" including occasionally walking to school on her own which she seems to think is quite something.

Ok, yeah, that's it.
