Paint and what not

Well, Ballard seems to be suiting us quite nicely. My family and I are settling into the area and getting familiar with our surroundings. There are so many wonderful things to explore here. Parks, shops, restaurants, trails. Our house is cute if not perfect. We've, at my wife's behest and initiative, painted the kitchen and the trim in the living room so as to decrease the new tenant sterility of our new digs. Window dressings are up, pictures are hung, furniture arranged and boxes unpacked. We've already enjoyed a fire or three in our cozy living room and I've gotten a fair share of gaming done in my best ever media room. School is in walking distance. New friends have been entertained and visited in their own Huck Finn-esuqe home in the woods. Grocery stores, shipping stores, fabric stores and a myriad of other useful and not so useful shops have been located and patronized. Old haunts have been revisited and new haunts discovered.

Now, if we could only find a church.
